Share Joy Challenge #55

Hello, friends!

Today is super sad for me, as the Share Joy Challenge is at an end. Yup, no more. I always hate when fun challenges end permanently. So, for my last challenge project, I created a fun birthday card using a fun stamp and die combo called Goody Goody Gumballs.

Using Cherry Pop card stock, I stamped the gumball image in Versamark ink, and clear heat embossed it. I then die cut the image out, and, added silver gel pen to the top, and the dispensing mechanism (big words ya'll).

I used the fun scallop die to cut my card base, and adhered layers of patterned paper, inside and outside. I adhered the image, along with the colored gumballs inside, and my sentiment.

That is it! I hope you've enjoyed! Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you get a chance to play along with our last challenge. It's been sooo fun!

A "Sweet" New Release Post

Hello and happy Friday, friends!

I am sure that you have seen the September stamp goodness that Sweet Stamp Shop just released. It never disappoints, and the images are as cute as ever! I wanted to pop in and share one that I created using a new set called Celebrate Cake. Um, is there ever a bad time to do that? Nope, I didn't think so.

When I saw the adorable numbers with a flame on the top, I knew I had to use it. And use it I did! I took a white card stock panel, and stamped the numbers randomly all over. I then colored all of the images in with Copic Markers.

I then adhered the panel to a card base, which I had adhered patterned paper to. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment onto black card stock, and trimmed it out, adhering it over top of some black thread. I finished it off with a few black sequins.

I hope you'll go check out the new release at the Sweet store! It's a delight!

Waffle Flower Challenge Guest Post

Hello friends!

Today, I have the privilege of being a guest on the Waffle Flower Crafts Challenge blog! I just love the Succulent stamp set they recently released, and used it for my card today. The photo inspiration perfectly matches the colors I used for my images.

I began with a piece of white card stock, and did quite a bit of masking, as I stamped the small and large open images around the panel. I then began coloring them with Copic markers. It was well worth the time and effort, especially when I added the highlight in using the Colorless Blender. I have to admit, I squealed a little. lol! These are the colors of markers I used for the succulents:

I used a couple of C markers to add a shadow around the inside, and stamped my sentiment using black ink.

I ran the panel through my die cutting machine with a stitched boarder rectangle die, and sponged on Tumbled Glass Distress Ink with a foam blending tool, around the edges, and in the center. I then adhered it to my Kraft card base using foam adhesive.

To finish my card, I adhered a few clear sequins! This challenge was really fun, and I thank the ladies at Waffle Flower for allowing me to join in the challenge to inspire you!

I do hope you decide to play along! Have a great day.

Share Joy Challenge #34

Hello, hello!

I am sharing the newest Share Joy Challenge for this week! I chose to use the inspirational photo, and kept it very clean and simple. Let's check it out!

I began by stamping three of the flowers from the Oh Happy Day mini set, onto a white card stock panel. I then colored them in with Copic Markers.

These are the markers I used to color in my images, if you need some color combinations!

I ran the panel through my die cut machine with the Congrats Script Die, using black card stock and inlaid it back into the original die cut negative. I added glitter to it using a Wink of Stella glitter brush pen!

Here is the graphic, and I have included the info on how to join us! I hope you do!

Share Joy Challenge #26

Hello, hello!

Today is a new Share Joy Challenge, and I bring you my card using the sketch. I thought the Easter egg basket was lovely, but was inspired by the sketch to break out these adorable fishies from the Oceans of Fun stamp set.

I started by die cutting my panel of card stock with the Medium Scallop die. I then used some Distress Inks to blend in a few blue hues to create my "waves." I also flicked on a bit of white paint for some interest. Once that was dry, I adhered the panel and the waves to a piece of copy paper, and ran a circle die through. I then reinserted it, and stamped my sentiment, popping up the whole panel onto fun foam, and a white card base.

I stamped the fish, and colored them in with Copic Markers, die cut them out, and adhered them around the circle!

I hope you take on the challenge! It is always fabulous to see your lovely cards in the gallery. Thanks for stopping by!

Share Joy Challenge #24

Hello!

I am bringing you the newest Share Joy Challenge for Taylored Expressions! I chose to use the sketch and the Clean and Simple. I liked the extra challenge, and using the Simply Succulents and matching die set, I came up with this..

I started with a panel, and ink blended in some light pink, I then stamped one of the smaller images, and colored it with Copic Markers. After I cut it out with the coordinating die, I adhered it with a bit of foam, and stamped my sentiment below it.

I then tied twine around the top portion, and after adhering a bit of dotted pattered paper to the card base, attached the panel with a piece of fun foam.

Here is the graphic so you can see what I worked with. I sure hope you play along! I can't wait to see what you make! Thanks so much for visiting with me today. Have a great one.

MFT Sketch #256

Hello friends!

I have a fun Christmas card to share today, based off of this weeks MFT Card Challenge sketch. I had to ink up the adorable moose, and his cluster of pillows from the Merry Christmoose set, and tried to mimic the sketch with the five feathers. Can you see it? Maybe a little? HAHA!

I started by creating masks of the moose, and the cluster of pillows. I then stamped my moose first, and covered him with the mask. I took a bit of Evergreen Bough, and applied a very light halo around him. I then stamped the pillows image over top of him. I masked those pillows, and stamped pillows on either side.

I colored the whole thing with Copic Markers, and then added a sentiment from the Santa's Elves stamp set.

Here is the sketch. I know, I took quite a few liberties with it. :0)

Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
