Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hey, hey!

In all the years of blogging, I have never taken such a long hiatus from posting! I do apologize! I am sharing a wintery card today, for the Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop! I missed the last one, so I am super excited to play along today.

Using the Deck the Halls stamp set from Lawn Fawn, I created a branch background using several shades of green. I took a bokeh stencil from Hero Arts, and sponged on Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for some interest in the background.

Stamping out the mugs from Lawn Fawn's Love You A Latte stamp set, using Onyx Black Versafine ink, I colored them in with a Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker. After the dried, I die cut each one out, and placed them onto the front of the card.

To finish it, I used the Hand Lettered Holiday set from My Favorite Things, and gold heat embossed it!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your blog hop!

MFT Sketch Challenge #303

Hello!

I am so sorry that I stepped away for so long! Whoa! Life just got a little hectic..I did make some time for the latest MFT Sketch challenge! It has been forever since I played along. I was so inspired by the sketch, and to my shame, had not inked up this adorable unicorn yet! WHA?!

I don't know why, but when I see that unicorn from the Magical Unicorns set, I think of Fuchsia, and MFT has the perfect shade. So, I started with a panel of Razzle Berry, and stamped the castle image repeatedly using Versamark ink.

I adhered the panel to a white card base, and then die cut a rectangle frame from the same colored card stock. Stamping the clouds with Onyx Black onto white card stock, I clear embossed them, and cut them out, layering them around the frame.

I stamped my unicorn in MFT's Black Hybrid ink, and colored it with Copic Markers, cutting it out, and mounting it onto my card front. I also white heat embossed my sentiment onto a black banner cut from the Blueprints 25 set. I added Wink of Stella to the clouds, as well as white gel pen on the unicorn.

Here is the sketch:

Thank so much for stopping by! I hope you have a fantastic day!

Sweet Stamp Shop Mini Release!

Happy Friday, friends!

I have been rather delinquent in sharing when it comes to my Sweet Stamp Shop projects, so I thought I would bring you the card I created using an adorable set from the latest mini release! This release included three stamp sets all celebrating their 5th birthday! For this clean and simple card, I used the Burnin' Love 4x6 stamp set, which is so so cute!

I used the cute guitar image to stamp across the bottom of the card front in black ink. I then took that same stamp, and flipped it over, stamping it over top the outline image using various colors of dye inks.

I stamped one of the sentiments, and flicked on some black ink splatters. Really simple!!

For the inside, I continued the look, and added a Happy Anniversary sentiment.

I hope you get a chance to check out the shop to see the two other cute sets in this special release. Happy birthday to the Sweet Stamp Shop!

Share Joy Challenge #45

Happy Thursday!!

I have a new Share Joy Challenge for you, and it is so much fun! You can do the sketch, or the bright color combination. I chose the colors this week! Let's check it out..

I started by stamping the large scribble circle from the Stroke of Genius 2 set, using TE's Candy Corn Dye ink, in the lower right bottom corner. I then took one of the frames from the Stitched Frame Stacklets 2 sets, and cut my card base. I backed the opening with a another piece of paper, and reinserted the frame in with foam tape.

Using the Little Bits- Confetti and Candle mini die set, I cut out the pieces using TE Card stock. I stamped my sentiment using the Simply Stamped - Roses set in Oreo ink, and added a few details. I added some white stripes to the candles using a gel pen, and some gloss to the candles.

Share Joy Challenge #42

Hey, hey!

It's time for this week's Share Joy Challenge from Taylored Expressions! I used the sketch this week, and came up with this bright, and happy card!

I started with a panel of white card stock, and using a simple circle die, made four openings. I then lightly traced those openings onto my white card base, and inked those spots in four colors.

I splattered them with water, and lifted the color up with a paper towel. I then adhered the panel with foam, and adhered the lovely Best Wishes Script die, that I stacked multiple times, and inked up.

I adhered a strip of pattered paper to the bottom, and also a cluster of flowers, and leaves that uses the new Fresh Florals Stamp and Die set. I stamped those in some of the Taylored Expressions Dye inks, in the colors, Granny Smith, Pea Pod, and Lemon Meringue.

Waffle Flower Challenge Guest Post

Hello friends!

Today, I have the privilege of being a guest on the Waffle Flower Crafts Challenge blog! I just love the Succulent stamp set they recently released, and used it for my card today. The photo inspiration perfectly matches the colors I used for my images.

I began with a piece of white card stock, and did quite a bit of masking, as I stamped the small and large open images around the panel. I then began coloring them with Copic markers. It was well worth the time and effort, especially when I added the highlight in using the Colorless Blender. I have to admit, I squealed a little. lol! These are the colors of markers I used for the succulents:

I used a couple of C markers to add a shadow around the inside, and stamped my sentiment using black ink.

I ran the panel through my die cutting machine with a stitched boarder rectangle die, and sponged on Tumbled Glass Distress Ink with a foam blending tool, around the edges, and in the center. I then adhered it to my Kraft card base using foam adhesive.

To finish my card, I adhered a few clear sequins! This challenge was really fun, and I thank the ladies at Waffle Flower for allowing me to join in the challenge to inspire you!

I do hope you decide to play along! Have a great day.
