Today, I have the privilege of being a guest on the Waffle Flower Crafts Challenge blog! I just love the Succulent stamp set they recently released, and used it for my card today. The photo inspiration perfectly matches the colors I used for my images.
I began with a piece of white card stock, and did quite a bit of masking, as I stamped the small and large open images around the panel. I then began coloring them with Copic markers. It was well worth the time and effort, especially when I added the highlight in using the Colorless Blender. I have to admit, I squealed a little. lol! These are the colors of markers I used for the succulents:
I used a couple of C markers to add a shadow around the inside, and stamped my sentiment using black ink.
I ran the panel through my die cutting machine with a stitched boarder rectangle die, and sponged on Tumbled Glass Distress Ink with a foam blending tool, around the edges, and in the center. I then adhered it to my Kraft card base using foam adhesive.
To finish my card, I adhered a few clear sequins! This challenge was really fun, and I thank the ladies at Waffle Flower for allowing me to join in the challenge to inspire you!
I do hope you decide to play along! Have a great day.
