Papertrey Blog Hop

Good Evening!  Thanks for boppin' my way tonight!  It is that time of the month when Papertrey Ink is having their blog hop!!  This month is featuring glorious felt!  To be honest, I don't use it much on my projects but that might change, cause it is fun to use, especially with Papertrey Dies.  My card features some Unity's May KOTM "A Little Happy" along with Papertrey's Scattered Showers.  For the grass I used some basic green felt I have had lying around forever.  It was the perfect excuse to use it.  The inside of the card reads "Right here right now." Well, that is all for me tonight!  Thank you for stopping by!

Homemade Just For You...Strawberry Goodness!

Hi there!  I am so glad you came by today.  It is a really gloomy Monday here in Northeastern Ohio, but I am quite content to craft away inside!  Dishes?  What dishes!  With my card today, I thought I would try to color this tiny little strawberry image from the Unity/Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety set.  I cut it out with my small scallop circle nestabilities die and then sponged blue ink on it while it was still in the die.  Thank you so much for your visit!  I hope it inspired you in some way.

Many Thanks Duo

Hey there!  I hope you had a fabulous and restfull Mother's Day weekend, whether you are a mother or not.  I certainly did!  A friend of mine who works with the Military and families in our area had the opporunity to escort two elderly veterans to Washington D.C. this past weekend.  She asked me to make two thank you cards for these gentlemen, one being a Navy Vet and the other Army.  So, one, I don't do masculine cards very well and second...ARMY NAVY??!  Oh my, I had no clue what to make.  Needless to say I improvised a bit and came up with these little numbers.  I hope they like them.  God bless our Troops and Veterans!
