Let's Celebrate

Hello, hello!

Oh Painted Flowers, how I love you.  Friend, I know it's sold out, but whoa!  When it is back in stock run and get it!  Now, I have a few crafty friends who, ahem, hate multi step stamping, but hear me out guys!  This set is so awesome!

John (my patient husband) took the kiddos shopping last night, while I got to play with these.  I decided if this set was going to be used, then I needed to practice.  So, I stamped out each flower and practiced lining them up according to Tasnim's how-to sheet.  Once I felt comfortable with them, I made a couple of cards.

For this first one, I started with a white panel, and stamped the Celebrate from Super Script, in gold Delicata ink.  I then stamped my flowers in Mint Julep and Tide Pool inks from Hero Arts, cutting out a couple and popping them up for a bit of interest.

I added woodgrain paper strips to the top and bottom of the panel and adhered a few gems to finish it!

For this next card, I die cut a circle out of my panel from cream cardstock, and lightly traced a circle onto my card base.  I then stamped clusters of flower in Hero Arts, Pale Tomato/Red Royal, as well as Soft Vanilla/Butterbar and again, Mint Julep and Tide Pool.  For a softer look, I stamped the outline in Charcoal ink.

I then took the Envelop Pattern background stamp from Hero Arts, and stamped it in Soft Granite, popped it up onto the card base, and added a sentiment from Label Love.  Of course, a few pearls finished it off.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you were inspired!
