So Grateful

Hi there!

I have a watercolor card to share today, using Wplus9's fabulous new Spring Blooms set.  Sadly, as of this posting, it is unavailable in the i {heart} papers store, as well as the dies to go with, boo!  But, I have no doubt they will be restocked soon!  For my card I used a lovely sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch this week, let's take a look, shall we?

I took a piece of Strathmore watercolor paper and stamped one of the leaf images around the edges in a combo of Peeled paint and Peacock Feathers.  The rock and roll technique works great for this, because as soon as you brush on the water, it blends into this lovely two-toned image with so much depth.  I then stamped the flowers, blending the colors with water, drying the first layer, and adding more color.

I added some more Peacock Feathers in the form of the berries, and stamped my sentiment.  I finished it by adhering it to a Kraft card base.  Super fun, and really easy to do.  One of my favorite things about Distress Inks, it makes it really easy to achieve the watercolor look!

Thanks for stopping by today, have a fabulous day!
