You Make Life Sweet

Happy Friday!  I am so thankful to have made it to this day, phew!  I have a little card to share that I made playing along with the Tuesday Trigger, Fancy Schmancy over at the Moxie Fab World.  Love the pink and brown together as well as the sweets themselves, yum!

To start, I adhered a white panel down to a brown card base that was cut to 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.  I then cut a strip of Candy Shoppe Dots & Stripes paper from Echo park (strips anyone?), punched a scallop border and adhered it to the base of the card.

Taking another piece of patterned paper, I scored every 1/4 inch and folded it, adhering it down with Scor-tape.  To finish it off, I adhered a pink button threaded with twine.

I then stamped the doughnut image onto white cardstock, colored them with Copic Markers and cut them out.  I popped them up on my card in various heights and double stamped my sentiment in brown and pink.  Lastly, I added some pearls to mimic the lovely sprinkles on top of those yummy treats!

I hope you enjoyed, have an awesome weekend!

Lindsay
