Wishing You A Happy Birthday

Howdy!  Thanks so much for popping in today especially after the whirlwind week of TCM posts!  You all were so supportive!  Thank you!!  Being that it is Saturday it is a little weird for to post this card because it isn't a Card Patterns post, which I have become so accustomed to on a Saturday morning.  Ah well it is just as good because it is a CAS-ual Friday project instead.  So this challenge was one near and dear to my crafty heart, Kraft paper and man cards (although that's not so near and dear).  I just love Kraft paper.  Because I also puffy heart stamping so much this is also for the latest Moxie Fab World challenge, Stamp-It Cards Week Challenge!  So here is what I came up with.


Starting with a Kraft panel, I stamped my tree image and sentiment, ran it through my Big Shot with the Woodgrain Impression Plate.


 I then tied around some baker's twine and adhered it to a Terracotta Tile card base.  Lastly, adding a couple of brown buttons cause I heart them.


Well there is my CAS contribution for this week!  I probably won't get to post for a little while considering the holiday weekend and this Sunday I am headed to PA for a little stamping fun with my crafty chicas.   Tara is having a bunch of us over for the day and I can't wait!  These are some of the ladies whom I meet with at Archiver's every other month and just attended Stampin' Around with.  Hopefully I will remember to take photos of all the fun and also share the projects that I make.  Thanks for dropping in my friend!  You're the best!

    Totally loving that tree and the little red bird! The twine and buttons are the perfect finishing touch! Great job on this card! I must pull out this set now! LOL!

    This is wonderful, Lindsay! I really need to get this tree set one of these days. It is so perfect for a masculine card, and I love the way you used the woodgrain impression with it.
