Hi there! Thanks for dropping in today! Rebecca and Sarah over at Polka Dot Door Designs invited me to play along with them in their third inspirational blog hop! Every month they post a fabulous inspirational pic and have other fabulous paper crafters join in with them. By hopping to each designer you could possibly win prizes from Accents and Pearls , Scrapbits, and Scapn4mygirls! Here is what you have to do.
"Each month we want to showcase some very talented ladies. Starting with the Polkadot Door be sure to work your way through the blogs and see what the design team has created using our inspiration photo. As you hop be sure to leave a comment on every blog and head back here once you are done. Leave a comment on the Polkadot Door to let us know you completed the blog hop and tell us who your favourite designer was."
Here is my project:
Started by adhering patterned paper from the Hollywood Vogue Collection by Webster's pages, followed by a panel of Kraft card stock impressed with the woodgrain pattern.
Layering a doily, stamped leaves, and flowers I colored and cut out. I also added some twine, pearls and a mini clothespin and lastly stamped my sentiment onto a cream strip!
Here is the inspirational photo:

ReplyDeletelovely blooms.. beautiful card..
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, you are my blogging hero because you blog so often and I lovvvve it! Wish I could be as diligent as you are. Also, this card is literally heaven on Earth. Purple is my fave color and the woodgrain? Come on. Gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteLindsay this is awesome! I usually favor super clean and simple designs but this one is just awesome. You've managed to keep it so clean and not over the top but still have layers and pattern and well, in my opinion, it is just amazing. Possibly now ranks as my most favorite card of yours (and yes, I do remember the last one I said that was my favorite. Hah!)
ReplyDeleteJust love your card! Beautiful color.
ReplyDeleteI just love how you incorporated the twine and clothespin on your card.
