Hi Sweetie

Happy Friday to you!  I am so thankful for this day, you don't even know!  Or maybe you do!  I am also very excited to announce that I am continuing on in the Gallery Idol competition!  So so thankful for all of those who voted for me, you are the best!  Though I am stoked to be moving on, I will be away from my crafty space Saturday and Sunday and need to complete my card TODAY!  EEKS, no pressure!  Luckily I have an a-mazing husband who plans to take the kiddo shopping and various other places, so I can craft.  THANKS DARLIN'!

So, you are probably wondering why I am popping in here if I have so much to do?  Well, I had started this card the other day with Kim's adorable Sugar Rush set and hadn't finished it.  When I saw CAS-ual Friday's challenge to make a card with something sweet, I knew what to do!  Check it...

Starting with some patterned paper from October Afternoon's Modern Homemaker, I punched squares and stamped various images from the set, distressed the edges and then adhered them down to a cream card base.

I stamped my sentiment, added some twine-threaded aqua buttons and added a big twine bow!

Now, I am off to brainstorm some ideas for clever uses of die cuts!  Wish me luck my friends, this could get ugly.  Have a great day!

Lindsay
