Hey Chickie!

Happy Wednesday to you!  This week is seriously beating me up!  I won't go into a long winded story about it but it has been quite stressful and I am so thankful for this hobby.  I was able to take my frustrated energy and make a card for the latest Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger: Perty & Flirty.  I seriously can't seem to put down the Chubby Chums set by Paper Smooches.  So so cute!  Instead of doing my usual literal approach, I just pulled the colors from the photo for my card.

Starting with some patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Fine & Dandy collection, I layered a piece of yellow onto it from Pink Paislee which I muted with vellum.

I stamped my image onto the vellum, let it dry for a good while and then colored it with Copic Markers.

I added a bit of black and white Baker's Twine and some black buttons like on the front of the coat and stamped my sentiment in black.
