Color Block Smooches

Hello my friend!  Thank you so much for popping by.  I am still running off of crafty fumes from Gallery Idol and feel like my mojo is not all there.  So when my order from Paper Smooches arrived yesterday I was almost scared to go try to make something!  Weird I know, so instead of pushing myself to make something I began stamping things on scratch paper and that triggered some ideas.  I dug into Kim's Designer Sketches and found a fun one that was super simple.  Let's see what I came up with shall we?

The first thing my husband said was "it's not your usual, but..."  I will take that as a compliment, thank you!  I tried to channel my inner Kim Kesti for this one starting with card stock blocks in Aqua Mist, Summer Sunrise and Spring Moss I stamped the cow from Chubby Chums like he is peaking and adhered those to a white panel.

I then stamped a frame and added the sentiment which I repeated!  I then attached the panel to a black card base.

It is growing on me I think.  I really wanted to add stuff to it but thought I would keep it as is.  Those cutie stamps need to shine on their own!

Have a fabulous day friends!  Don't forget to vote in the Gallery Idol!  It ends Thursday.

Lindsay
