You're So Special

Hi there friend!  I hope you had a relaxing weekend!  I certainly did, enjoying time at my sister's for Mother's Day.  I have a little card to share with you today using CR84FN's fabulous color combo AND the new CAS-ual Fridays Text challenge!  Super fun, I say!  So many of my bloggy-friends are on the DT and I just had to play along, especially after seeing all of their fantastic creations.  Here is what I came up with.


I started by heat embossing my flower image in white and stamping my text onto them.  Cut them out and adhered them to a white card base.


Stamped my sentiment in Smokey Shadow ink, threaded my buttons with gray thread and adhered those with glue dots.

Well, that is all for me for now.  I hope to hit my craft table sometime today (gotta love happy mail!), so much to do, so little time!  Have a great day my friend.

    This just says "Lindsay" to me! I actually dreamt of a very similar card recently (only in orange...go figure *grin*) but your execution is over the top fabulous.
