Hi!

Good morning friend!  I hope you are doing well!  I made a little card up using Hero Arts Simply the Best stamp set.  I just love this fruit!  It is perfect for paper-piecing or coloring.  I chose to color the pear in with Copic markers.  It is a fairly simple card aside from the coloring and cutting out.  Thank you for stopping by today!  I always appreciate your visits.

Supplies:
Paper: Papertrey Ink Vintage Cream
Patterned Paper: October Afternoon Farm Fresh 8x8 pad
Stamps: Hero Arts Simply the Best
Ink: Memento Tsukineko Tuxedo Black; Papertrey Ink Chai Tea Dye
Embellishments: Martha Stewart Crafts Tag
Tools: Tim Holtz Scissors; We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper
Adhesive: EK Success 3D Dots; Tombow Mono

  1. I love your card! The pear is colored perfectly (not easy for copics on a large area) and love the leaves (how cute is that!), inked doily tag and fun papers!

  2. Well as a HUGE pear anything fan I loved this card right away! I collect pear stamps (only have 13) and I've never seen this one before. Love the strips of PP!

  4. Love this Lindsay, I love how you sponged the doily and stamped the sentiment on it, and then the addition of the pear, well it looks like the doily and pear are one element, you've done such a fabulous job with it! And the strips of paper set it all off to perfection. Great job!

  5. Love the fun colors. Did you just drag the colorless blender up the side of the pear to get the shading?

  7. So -- how in the world did I get 12 posts behind on your blog, Lindsay?! Love this pear card; your coloring is spectacular! Great colors all around. And going back -- your PTI Blog Hop card was wonderful (I may have commented on it before, but I love that peek-a-boo window in the front) and I also love the card from maybe a week ago with the tea cup with a lemon wedge on the rim and all the patterned paper. So much good stuff in all the posts, but those stood out for me. Fun reading about your "life stuff", too (cranky toddler, roller coasters, etc.).
