Happy Shower

Hi all!

I finally got a chance to play with some of the new Lawn Fawn Stamps from the latest release (you can find them here, in the i {heart} papers store).  They are so so adorable!  To help me along, I was inspired by this weeks Curtain Call Challenge, which ends in a few days.  Nothing like the last minute for this girl.  Sheesh.

Such a serene and peaceful picture, dontcha think?

I started by taking the Pumice Stone Distress ink, and rubbing a bit on my craft sheet.  With a wet brush, I applied a color wash, and allowed it to dry, before adding a bit more of that color, and drying it again.  For some reason, it looks like it has a purple hue to it.  hmm.

I then took the clouds, and rain drops from the Hello Baby set and white heat embossed them onto my panel, added a vellum strip with my sentiment, stitching it to the side.  I then stamped and colored, die cut and adhered the bunny and umbrella and added a bit of white enamel to it's cute tail.  I love the monochromatic look, it's been awhile since I tried it.

Be sure to check out all of the latest Lawn Fawn goodness in the store!  So many stamps, so little time.  Thanks for stopping by!
