Hip Hip Hooray!

It's Friday!

Hip Hip Hooray!!  I made this card the other day, and thought I would share it with you now, I mean, it's Friday!  That is cause for celebration!  I believe it was right after taking the Stenciled class at Online Card Classes, that I made it, so I was pretty inspired to try gradient ink sponging with my stencil.

I also gave embossing paste and powder a try as well.  I have to say, I would have waited to let it dry, if I knew it would turn out this way.  You should have smelled it, lol!  I thought I might burn the place down!  Anyway, I simply dabbed my ink on in a rainbow of colors through a Heidi Swapp stencil.  After I was done, I added my stars using some modeling paste, and another HS stincil (both purchased at Michael's) and sprinkled gold powder over it.

To finish it, I used a new Hero Arts set, Yay! and black heat embossed my sentiment onto vellum, wrapping it around my panel, before adhering it to a black card base.

There is nothing like rainbow colors to cheer someone up, right!  I hope you have an awesome weekend, my friends!  Thanks for stopping by!
