February Sweet Stamp Shop Release

Hey, hey!

I am back today with some fun projects to share with you, using the February release from Sweet Stamp Shop.  There are some really cute stamps this month, so be sure to check out the Sweet Blog for more cards using them.

My first card, uses my favorite set (shh, don't tell the others), called Sparkle and Shine.  I adore the little gems included in this, as well as sequin images too.  I stamped them onto watercolor paper, because I knew I wanted to give them an arsty look using Gelatos.

So, for my color palette, I was inspired by the bag of sequins the lovely Paulina from Pretty Pink Posh, sent to each of us.  I love her sequins!  I simply took my gelatos and watered them down, and sloppily applied them to my stamped images.  I then stamped my sentiment, and adhered the panel to a dark brown card base.

I didn't want to leave out the inside, so I used the rest of the sentiment, as well as a gem image.

For this next set, called Too Hip, I wanted to focus on one of the little images.  So, taking the bow tie, I stamped it across my panel, and again with the solid, in a masculine color scheme.  I then stamped my sentiment, and adhered brown cardstock strips to the top and bottom.

I then took the colors I used for the ties, and watered them down, flicking the ink in the top right, and bottom left corners, before adhering my panel with foam.

Next, I created a shaker card, using Announcing.  This set has fabulous sentiments for baby and weddings.  I adhered a panel of vellum to my white card base, and filled it with flat silver and gold confetti from the Pretty Pink Posh store.  Then I took a piece of AC glitter paper, cut out the center, and adhered it to the front.

Of course, I had added the banner and the words with Versamark and gold embossing powder for added glam.

For my last card, I went super clean and simple.  Using the banner and doves from the lovely Announcing set, I gold heat embossed both images, cutting out the doves, and adhering them with foam, to a white card base.  Easy and quick!
