For my projects today, I chose one of my fav sets, Holiday Foundations, by Karen Baker. I also paired it with Mabelle R-O's Christmas Cheer set. For the first card, I started with an aqua base and stamped the snowflake border stamp across the front with versamark ink.
I then die cut the Frightful Edges die from Lifestyle Crafts, to look like melting snow, and then glittered the edge with Mica Flakes (this is as close to glitter as I get folks).
Lastly, I stamped the bird, cut it out and paper-pieced the leaf, adding red rhinestones as berries. I then stamped my sentiment repeatedly in black ink.
For my next card, I used the same combination of sets. Starting with the multi-line image in Holiday Foundations, I stamped at a diagonal on the left side of the card base, adding the solid image in a darker green after I had stamped my sentiment. The crooked bottom portion, is again, testament to my late hour crafting, lol!
I then stamped and cut out the ornaments from Christmas Cheer, popping those up after tying around my twine bow.
I hope you were inspired this week by the projects you've seen! Head on over to Mabelle R-O's inspiring blog to see more fabulousness with these sets (available here) and leave her some love. Thank you for visiting!!
