Dreams Come True

Hello!  I am so glad you came my way today.  I have a fun little card to share with you using Dandelion Dreams from Skipping Stones Design, a bit of masking and my favorite technique, misting!  Here is what I did.

I started by die cutting a mask from plain white typing paper using a label die.  I then laid that over my white card base and lightly misted with purple.

After I removed the mask, I flicked a bit more purple onto the front of the card and added my stamping within the misted frame.  I double stamped my sentiment in yellow and in black for a bit of dimension.

Lastly, I adhered a cluster of embellishments to give the card balance.

I hope you will give masking and misting a try, it really is a fun technique!  Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
Paper: White
Stamps: Dandelion Dreams Skipping Stones
Ink: Tuxedo Black Tsukineko, Harvest Fresh Ink, Purple Mist Tattered Angels
Embellishments: Die Cuts, Stickers Crate Paper, Ribbon and Button from stash, Staple Tiny Attacher Tim Holtz
Tools: Label Die Wplus9

OK so you need to come round to mine and teach me how to embrace the misting technique!
