Hello and welcome to the Skipping Stones Design blog hop for the release of Heartsong 2. You should have come by way of JoAnn's blog. If not, go to the SSD site for all of the info on today's hop. For my card today, I used patterned papers from the Studio Calico, Take Note 6x6 pad.
Starting with the woodgrain, I adhered it to my cream card base, and layered another piece of paper onto that.
I then stamped the bird twice, once with a yellow ink and then again over top with brown.
Taking green ink, I stamped the branch image twice.
I stamped my sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed it with white powder, adhered the strip with dimensional adhesive and wrapped a bit of twine around it.
Here is a look at the sketch:
I do hope you play along, and be sure to hop with us! Next on the hop is Wendy J. so be sure to head her way for more inspiration!
