Hello, hello! Today marks another sketch at the Skipping Stones Design Blog and a fabulous blog hop with Scor-Pal! You should have arrived from the Scor-Pal blog. Along with using the Scor-buddy for our cards, the team is focusing on a brand new set called Beautiful Botanicals. I always loved Dandelion Dreams for it's lovely silhouette images and Beautiful Botanicals follows in it's wake, ranking among my favorites. Here is what I created using the sketch and set as well as the Scor-Pal.
Taking the Sor-Buddy from ScorPal, I created a textured background on my card base.
I then stamped the large silhouette image, heat embossed it in white and trimmed it into four equal sections. I mounted those sections onto white cardstock, and adhered them to my card base with foam.
I then took my sentiment, white embossed it, notched the end and adhered it to the card front.
Lastly, I threaded a big button with twine!
Here is a look at the sketch by Angi Barr, our guest sketch artist for March:
I hope you hop along with us today as we showcase this awesome stamp set. ***Don't forget to leave comments on your visits! Skipping Stones Design will be giving away one stamp set to a lucky winner and Scor-Pal is giving away a Scor-Buddy, so there is lots to win! Your next stop on the hop is the lovely Diane Zechman's blog. Have a great day!
