The Craft's Meow Release Preview Beautiful Spring & Mother, Father

Hello and happy Saturday!  Today marks the beginning of sneak peaks for the March Release at The Craft's Meow!  Eek, these stamps are so fabulous!  But then, when aren't they, right?  In celebration of TCM's one year anniversary, there is a sketch challenge to play along with on the blog, as well as prizes to be won for comments left there!  We are also welcoming four new design team members, as well as two special guests this month, so please welcome Karen, Jen, Amy and Jackie, along with Amy and Deborah to the team!  I have two cards for you, one using Beautiful Spring and another using a lovely little set, Mother & Father.

To start, I stamped the open butterfly image in pink onto a white card base.  I then flicked some green paint onto the top portion and adhered a panel of patterned paper from American Crafts on the lower half.  I also used the Mother from the other set I am previewing today, for my sentiment.

I then added some strips of cardstock and more patterned paper, and finishing it off with some cut out stamped butterflies.

For my next card, I pulled out the woodgrain.  For this masculine card, I let the large Father image take center stage, and added some leaves from Beautiful Spring to the side.

I then wrapped twine around the patterned paper panel and adhere it to a green panel and then to my card base.  Lastly, I adhered a brad that I clipped the prongs off of.
