Almost There

Hey, hey!  I am currently up in Michigan visiting with my husbands family, but I thought I would sneak in here and post a scrapbook page I made today using the Brooklyn Flea kit from Studio Calico.  I usually don't take any scrappy supplies with me when I go out of town, but this time around I thought it might be fun to challenge myself with just a few supplies.  Subscribing to SC has made packing for on-the-go scrapping, super easy!

I adhered strips of patterned paper to the top and bottom of the page, adding a bit of stamping with some of the SC/HA sets I got last month.  I also splattered on some Mr. Huey mist all over before I started adhering stuff down.

My picture is one of John and I at the shower that his mother had for us a few months before our marriage.  Time sure does fly!  I decided not to disturb the page flow by adding journaling.  Sometimes it's nice to leave it out.

I also added a few lovely buttons from Crate Papers Farmhouse collection onto my page.

I hope you enjoyed and are having a great weekend!  I will be back on Tuesday with the new challenge from The Ribbon Carousel!  Take care friend!

P.S.
If you have any questions about the supplies I used, just leave me a comment or email me at lindsaway @ gmail dot com.  Thanks!

Darling page, Lindsay. The paint splatters really pull your eye across the layout, and I love the bits and pieces of different papers.
