Damask Merci Papertrey Ink August Blog Hop

Hi there!  Thank you for stopping over today!  Today I am sharing my card using the inspirational photo given by Papertrey Ink for their monthly blog hop!  I pulled the greens and reds from the photo, as well as the lovely damask pattern from the suitcase.


Starting with Damask Designs, I stamped the background strip repeatedly onto a white panel and adhered it to a New Leaf card base.


I die cut some the Beautiful Blooms flowers from Pure Poppy card stock, stamped the largest leaf from Turning A New Leaf and cut it out.  I then stamped my sentiment from Think Big Favs #3 and adhered the other pieces down and added a pink button to the center of my flower.

    Just wonderful, Lindsay! You captured the photo so beautifully! Your flower is especially striking, and I LOVE the contrast of the red flower with the pink button center! Makes me wish I hadn't forgotten the Hop, LOL! :-D
