Hi there friend! So excited about today because I am meeting with some lovely ladies from the Papertrey Ink forum at our local Archivers! I hardly get to go to crops and really enjoy crafty time away from the kiddo and home obligations. So, onto my card for today. Card Patterns sketch 109 is up and ready for you to make it shine! The sponsor this week is the lovely Catherine Pooler, Stampin Up demo. I used some really nice patterned paper and cardstock she sent us and came up with this fun boy card!
Using a piece of SU gree cardstock I die cut scallops and adhered it to a red cardstock panel, which I adhered to my white card base. Using some circle patterned paper, I cut out some of the circles and adhered them to my card front randomly.
Cut a strip of patterned paper to create my banner, die cut a green scallop oval and adhered a white oval to it. Attached a cute train sticker and adhered the whole thing to my banner piece. Then added a cute sticker.
Lastly, I stamped a few sentiments from Ali Edwards Studio AE sets from Technique Tuesday on some of the circles and on the side of the card (oops, kinda crooked! I was distracted by a really cute 3 yr old wanting attention).
Well, I hope you have an awesome weekend my friend! Thanks for dropping in!
Lindsay
