Happy Birthday Card Patterns 107

Happy Saturday friend!  It is one busy day here at our house, my son is turning 3!  Time sure does fly so fast.  We will be having a fun little family get-together with cupcakes and ice-cream!   Can't wait!  For now though it is another fun sketch over at Card Patterns!  The prize this week is sa-weet!  A grab bag of 20 Unity Stamps!  Awesome!

The sketch this week is a classic!

Stamped and embossed my flowers, rubbed distress ink to color them and cut them out.

Added some patterned paper which I distressed with some ink and my handy-dandy fingernail and tied on some ribbon.

Stamped my sentiment onto cream cardstock, cut it out and notched the ends to make it look like a banner!

I do hope you will play along with us this week!  Have a great one my friend!

Lindsay

  5. Happy birthday to your little guy! Hope you had a fun celebration!

This card is GORGEOUS! I just love how beautifully the inked flower coordinates with the patterned paper. Also happy to see that I'm not the only one who didn't feel a banner die was totally necessary. *wink* Fabulous job, GF!
