Howdy my friend! Have you seen the latest Tuesday Trigger?! I was a bit stumped when I saw that picture, and then I let that sophisticated pattern and the rustic appeal of that piece of cloth sink into my brain... Love when cards like this happen!
Starting with a Rustic White card base, I tried to replicate the intricate orange pattern and layout using the Mat Stack 2 collection from Papertrey Ink and Rusty Hinge Distress Ink.
I added a little flourish to the centers I then ran the card front through my Big Shot with the Linen & Canvas Impression Plate (PTI) to get that fabric look.
The blue jars possed a bit of a challenge, because I don't own jar stamps and really didn't have much in the way of images. Lightbulb moment. Use a great sentiment in said color! Check!
Lastly, I threaded those big yummy blue buttons with twine (that's in the inspirational pic too!) and adhered them with glue dots.
Here is the pic:
I love how this one turned out! I can't wait to give it away. Hope you play too friend, thanks for checking it out!

Hello
Hey there! Today I am sharing my last card with Cardabilites! Time sure does fly and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Karan's fabulous sketches! This sketch is no exception!
I went with lots of happy color for this one, breaking out the Echo Park A Walk In the Park Collection. Started with an orange card base and layered on some patterned paper.
Adhered the scallop sticker border and a strip of patterned paper, tied around some twine.
Added a big juicy orange button along with some die cuts of a tree and butterfly punches.
Lastly, using the letter stickers from the collection, I spelled out Hello with foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed! Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the web!

Hi again my friend! Getting tired of me yet? Hee! Whenever the crafty mood strikes I must obey and this time I wanted to try my hand at Mona's awesome color combo at CR84FN! I also haven't played along at Waltzingmouse in forever! So I combined them and came up with this.
I broke out my Frame-It set and used the little leaf image and sentiment.
Stamped my polka dots with ColorBox Lime Pastel and adhered that to a Scarlet Jewel base, which I then attached to my Rustic Cream card base. Stamped my sentiment in Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
Cut out my pennants and added scallops to their edges, stamped my leaf image in ColorBox Chianti ink, adhered them to my card.
Lastly, I added some twine and layered my buttons!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Hi there friend! Thanks for popping by today! I had started this card and never finished it, leaving to sit on my table for who knows how long until I was tired of moving it out of the way. Ever happen to you?

Stamped my sentiment from Fancy Phrases by Paper Smooches onto a ticket, cut it out and popped it up.

Thanks Bunches
Hey! Glad you stopped by! Today I am sharing my sample using the newest Card Patterns sketch. Our sponsor this week is the fun digi stamp co. Stitchy Bear Stamps. I chose to work with the Silk On Glass image.
I started with a Kraft card base and added some fun patterned papers from Cosmo Crickets Salt Air 6x6 pad. Die cut a Kraft circle, cut it in half and adhered it down, adding a little white stitching with a gel pen.
Printed off my image and colored it with Copic Markers, die cut it out with an Oval die and mounted it onto an Ocean Tides Scallop circle.
Stamped a sentiment from Paper Smooches Vegtastic.
Added a few layered New Leaf buttons threaded with twine to finish it off!
I hope you play along with us this week! We love seeing what you make with the sketches! Have a great weekend!
