Hey there!
I am back again today, to share this months AEIHeartU challenge for January! Luckily we have dodged the white stuff here in Northeastern Ohio for a while now, but I am sure it will fall any day. Which brings me to this month's theme of Winter. Do you like snow? I would love to know!
I wanted to create a serene white scene, so I pulled out an oldie but goodie, Let It Snow.
I started with a white card base, and stamped the Birch tree image in a light gray ink. I then masked the trees, and laid down a mask I cut to look like a hill. I sponged on Tumbled Glass Distress ink twice, and then added white embossed snowflakes.
I stamped one of the cardinals onto white card stock, using Antique Linen Distress Ink, and colored it in with Copic Markers. I then trimmed it out, and adhered it using foam tape.
Lastly, I stamped my sentiment using Smokey Gray Versafine ink, and adhered a few rhinestones.
Thanks for joining me today! I can't wait to see what you create. I hope you have a great one!
I like everything but the sentiment, Lindsay. ;) I wouldn't care if we never had snow. I have this set and think I'd better get it out and use it. I love the hills you put in.
ReplyDeleteI love the sparkle you added and the color of the bird - such a pretty card.
