Helloooo!
It's been awhile, huh? I am so sorry about that! I wanted to stop by and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! Sadly, I didn't have a card appropriate for the occasion, however, I found this card I created awhile back, that uses the adorable mouse from the My Favorite Things stamp set, Harvest Mouse. It's fall, and that counts, right? ;0)
I used watercolor paper for my panel, and sponged on Ground Espresso Distress Ink, splattering it with ink, water, and white paint. I stamped the leaves on the bottom, and colored them in with Copics.
Here is a close-up of the splatters, and ink blending!
I stamped the mouse, along with a couple of the pumpkins, colored them with Copic Markers, and trimmed them out, and adhered them to the panel with foam tape. I then adhered a piece of patterned paper to a white card base, and added the panel with foam.
I hope you have a relaxing day with your family, and friends. I am off to cook, and prepare! Thank you so much for stopping by to see me!
This is adorable and perfect for this time of year. I love the use of the brown - it's so unusual to see and it adds a nice warm autumnal feel to the card. Happy Thanksgiving to you! xx
