Hope Today Tickles You Pink

Well hello!

Long days of outdoor activity with the kids? Check! Not enough time in the day? CHECK! For real, though...crafty time has been severely limited. I haven't made a video in ages, and when I am at the table it is to make things for a few special things coming up. Which, I can't wait to share!

BUT, you didn't come here to hear me babble on about busy days, and no crafty time! I have a card, ya'll! The MFT card Challenge blog put out a fabulous color combo, and I had to squeeze time in for it. When I say squeeze in, I mean 5 minutes here, and 5 minutes there. Well, before the toddler figures out that I am gone, and comes looking for me! I digress, though..the color combo is super summery, and super fun!

Veronica inspired the use of the Flamingo from the Tickled Pink set, since I haven't used the die set that much. It was time to give it a place on my card. And, of course, the Modern Blooms set is just one of my favs. I used lime cardstock and a fabulous scalloped frame to border my images. I added my sentiment in a dark gray, and added my die cut flamingo.

I die cut, and stamped the flowers and leaves from Modern Blooms, and finished it off with a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. So bright and fun!

Thanks a million for stopping by! I hope next time won't be so long. We shall see...

  2. Love it! It totally pops with colour. The pink and green together is just divine! I'm also glad it's not just me who tries to get some crafting done in 5 minute chunks before small children come crawling and running.....

  5. Fabulous - love that line green and that gorgeous flamingo.
I recall that no matter where my children were in the neighbourhood, as soon as I made or received a phone call they would be in front of me demanding my attention - you have my sympathies :-) - but enjoy these times, they really are very brief in the grand scheme of things.
    Blessings
