You Brighten My Day

Hello again, friends!  Happy New Year's to you!

I am here with the latest challenge for Avery Elle!  This month is all about Paper Piecing.  I haven't done this particular technique in a long time, and it was fun!  Check it out.

I started with a white panel, and stamped the lemon image from the Berry Good set.  I didn't do any masking because I am covering the images with patterned paper.  I then took papers from the Everyday Collection, stamping, and cutting out the pieces.  I glued down those pieces onto the stamped white panel.

I then took the You die and layered up a few of them with black cardstock to create a bit of depth.  I added the sentiment from the stamp set that goes with it.  I finished it off by adding Wink of Stella to the die cut, and some black enamel dots, before popping up the panel onto a piece of Avery Elle Mimosa cardstock.
