How has your week been going so far? Good I hope. Take Two Thursday came around really fast for me! For this installment, Katie and I are playing with the Holly Jolly set from Paper Smooches, which i {heart} papers carries, yeah! I just love it, it is such a cute set! Both of my cards are clean and simple, just the way I like it, and fit perfectly with Virginia's latest challenge, Clean and Simple!
I took a white card base, and stamped my sentiment first. Then I stamped the garland images in different Hero Arts Shadow Inks, and went back in with the dots, stamping those throughout the design.
I decided I liked it the way it was, so I didn't embellish it any further. How about another?
I stamped my sentiment, and then added the berry cluster, and the holly leaves. I then colored them in with Copic Markers. I finished it off by adding Glossy Accents to the berries.
Two Christmas cards down, a million to go! HAHA! Hop on over to see what Katie did with this set, I am positive that it will be clever. Seriously, I always walk away from her cards, thinking, why didn't I think of that?
