A Little Stitching Goes A Long Way

It really does...especially when you stink at it!

I swear to you, my husband can sew better than I can.  There is nothing that boy can't do, and he got that machine to sing him a song when he pulled it out.  Me?  Not so much...that big Singer saw me coming, and said, "oh no, not her!"  Well, I gave it my best shot anyway.

Virginia is onto her 3rd challenge, and this time around it's stitching.  So what did I manage to make, you ask?  Check it out!

I started with the Fanciful Feathers set from Wplus9, stamping it in yellow, pink, and coral inks.  I did a bit of ink blending with some of the colors, inking up a light shade, then pouncing it once into the next color, and stamping.

After the feathers were stamped, I gold heat embossed an Avery Elle greeting from Brushed, and stitched the vellum flag to the feather panel.  I adhered the panel to a card base, which I had already adhered pink patterned paper, with foam, and finished it off with gold sequins.

Thanks for stopping by!  I will be back tomorrow with a SUPER fun announcement!
