A Watercolor Rainbow Happy Birthday

Hey there!

Thank you so much for your positive response to my Stamp Out Chaos post the other day!  Katie and I are super excited to start our organizing, and can't wait to bring you our next installment.

Today, I have a rainbow card, featuring Distress Markers (I know, I need to stop) as well as Avery Elle, and Enamel Dots!  A winning combination!  I love AE's stamps!

To start this, I took a panel of watercolor paper, and colored on a rainbow, sprayed it heavily with water, and heat set it.  I then did a little technique I saw Kristina Werner do, and cupped water in my hands, and let it fall onto the panel.  It's a really fun effect!  I then took Avery Elle's Cake & Candles set, stamped it in Versamark and heat set it with white powder.

After the panel dried, I tied around some twine, and added enamel dots.  To the card base, I adhered strips of pattered paper from the Carte Bella 6x6, It's A Celebration.  I then added my panel with strong adhesive!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great one.
