Oh my word, it's almost Friday! That makes me happy. Very Happy. This card also makes me very happy, why? Because it has Wplus9 on it, and Distress Inks. Now those are two things I enjoy very much! I made this for Wplus9's 4th B-day celebration! Dawn's challenge was a fun one, Trends!
As you have seen lately, I am a bit obsessed with watercolors. I love that artsy feel and the freedom it gives to create. For this I chose a few sets from Wplus9 to create my card, including, Backgrounds & Borders 1, and a new one, Whole Lotta Happy.
I stamped the border image in three colors of Distress Inks, Picked Raspberries, Spun Sugar, and Ripe Persimmon. I then took a bottle of perfect pearl mist, and sprayed it liberally, until it began to run. I then heat set it dry, and adhered it to a piece of pattered paper from BG Fresh Cut 6x6 paper pad.
Sadly, you can't really see the shimmer very well, but whoa it's sparkly! I then took the Happy die and layered it up, adhering it, and stamping the rest of the sentiment from the Whole Lotta Happy set. To finish it, I added some enamel dots.
Thanks for stopping in today! I will be back soon!
Love the watercolor look you achieved here, Lindsay!
