The Craft's Meow Farewell Blog Hop

Hi there friends!

Today is a sad day for me, because Lisa of The Craft's Meow has made the difficult decision to close the TCM store.  TCM is close to my heart, as it was my first stamp company design team position.  Lisa is so generous, kind and just a really great person.  Lisa, I wish you all the best in whatever you do!

So, many of TCM's past and present Design team members are joining in on a farewell hop, using our favorite TCM stamps from over the years.

For my card, I chose Karen's Geometric Foundations, as well as Nina's super fun set called Let's Face It.  To begin, I heat embossed one of the background strips in white, and added distress inks to create a gradient background.

I then stamped and white heat embossed the speech bubble and sentiment from Nina's set, and trimmed it out.  I used dimensional adhesive to pop it up, and finished it off with enamel dots.

Your next stop on the hop is the amazing and talented Nina Bracket.   Thank you so much for visiting today, and I hope you take some time to check out the list of crafters!

  4. Yowser, Lindsay, your card is awesome!!! I love the embossing and gradient techniques. This turned out GREAT! Your color choices are fabulous! Oh, how I've missed your work with TCM stamps. I didn't realize that TCM was your first stamp company design team experience. How cool is that? I'm honored! Thank you for sticking with me for so long, and for always being so helpful and cheerful and fun to work with. I'll never forget. xx
