I Love You

Hey, hey!

I had a bit of crafty time the other night, and was inspired by Paulina's 10 minute Craft Dash.  I am going to confess right off the bat, I did NOT make it in 10 minutes.  Not even close, lol!  I don't even know what time I made because I stopped it around 13 minutes, yeah, it was bad.  HAHA!  I did have fun making this though...

So, here is how it went down...

1. Cut strips of cardstock, cardbase, and score
2. Prepare to start the card, realize the phone is downstairs, go get said phone
3. Start timer, glue strips to black panel, start to adhere it to the card base, and realize there is no heart die cut out yet...
4. Die cut window remedied, black panel secured
5. White gel pen in hand, faux stitching ensues
6. First attempt at sentiment flag = total fail, redo, trim and adhere, notice I have 00 seconds left, WHA?
7. Curious as to how long it would have taken to finish this deal, and reset the timer...
8. Throw sequins on, round corners, and laugh!  It took an extra 3+ minutes, ah well.

You win some, lose some, right?  Thanks for a fab challenge Paulina, they are always FUN!!  I used lots of fun stuff from the i {heart} papers store, including the sequins, stamps, and dies.  Also, Friday is the last day for the 5th Birthday Sales extravaganza sale!  Be sure to stop over and see what Kate has!

Take care my friends,

  1. This card is so pretty, Lindsay! I love the way you incorporated the colors with this die cut! While it didn't make the timer, the extra time it took to create was so worth it. ;) Thank you for playing in the 10 Minute Craft Dash!

  7. Lindsay, I love this. It caught my eye right off the bat. I'd say 13+ is still an amazing time for this card....especially since you cut/glued all those strips of paper.
