Hi sweet friends!
How's your week going so far? Summer is flying by, no? I have another card to share with you, using more fun stamps from KK Yuen's Etsy store, Stampcow. You can check out my last post using the adorable little robot stamp, here. Today, I used two fabulous images, the leaves and the butterfly to create this Sympathy card.
To begin, I stamped the Natural Leaves wood block in Fresh Ink's Mojito along the bottom portion. I then took a strip of vellum, and stamped this lovely butterfly stamp onto it with Versamark, and heat embossed it with white powder.
I then trimmed the strip down, added a heat embossed sentiment and adhered it around the card front. Finishing it off with some pearls. Do go check out what KK has in the store, I believe there are some new fun stamps in there! He also has another store, Craftpon, selling tons of crafty trinkets and accessories.
Also, thank you to KK for allowing me to show off these adorable stamps!

Whew! At first I thought you cut all around the whole butterfly and wondered how you did that so well. Your solution to cut down the strip was inspired.
ReplyDeleteButterflies always look so much prettier on vellum. I love the purple shading on the wings!
