Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger Challenge: Elegant Emerald

Hey again!

It's a post-everyday-for-a-week kinda month, sooooo, I thought I would double up to play along with the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger challenge: Elegant Emerald.  Wowie, that is quite the dress, no?  I certainly couldn't get away with an outfit like that...

I reached for Mama Elephants Modern Borders and used that fabulous offset scallop for my gradient stamping.  I just thought it resembled those ruffles!  I stamped the border using two different Turquoise colors, cut the panel down, and using this weeks Sunday sketch from Studio Calico, adhered it to a white card base.  

I then trimmed my sentiment strip, adhered a bit of gold paper to the base and popped up the banner.  I then stamped, colored and trimmed that gorgeous butterfly and popped that up as well.

Funny story that, well, actually it isn't really that funny...I have to be THE sloppiest stamper in existence.  Period.  I get it all over my hands, and it usually ends up on my project.  So, not to my surprise, I am totally done with my card, and lo and behold there in the corner are lovely ink smudges.  ACK!  How?  I washed my hands right after all of that stamping, i swear it!  lol, well, I managed to get that panel up and transfer it to a clean white card.  The end.
