Hello there! I took full advantage of Jonathan's quiet time yesterday to make a card using Nicole Heady's Make-It-Monday challenge. The Copic marker- striped ribbon technique isn't one I have used before and wow! I love how it looks! I was inspired by the colors in a picture I saw on Pinterest and it snow balled from there.
Starting with a Smokey Shadow card base, I scored some lines around the top and right side of the card.
I took Vintage Cream grosgrain ribbon and using a YG25, BG15, and a T06 marker, drew lines down the ribbon length with a ruler. I adhered those to my card front and trimmed the ends.
Lastly, I die cut the largest label from the Label die set and stamped it in Hawaiian Shores ink using its coordinating stamp set. Stamped a sentiment from Masculine motifs and added a globe from October Afternoon's Boarding Pass Chipboard sticker sheet.
Truthfully, I LOVE how this turned out and am pleasantly surprised at how quickly it came to be. Thank you so much for popping by my friend! Your visits are so appreciated!
