From Owl of Us & A Birthday Blog Hop!

Hello hello and welcome!  Today's post is dedicated to a very special crafty girl, Jenny Suchin!  I am lucky enough to be on The Craft's Meow design team with her and she is having a birthday today!  The lovely Anita Recksiedler put together this blog hop to celebrate her day, so be sure to start there!  If you are well on your way through the list, you should have come from Ashley's blog...Happy birthday Jenny!!

It wouldn't be a proper celebration without using Jenny's own fun Owl set from TCM!  So I used Owl Be Thinking of You for my card today.

Starting with a white panel, I adhered a little strip of brown card stock and stamped, cut out and adhered my owls to the bottom portion.

I punched a bunch of labels from an EK Success punch and adhered them to the top of the panel and trimmed the excess.  Tied around some twine and secured it with a button and a bow.

I then stamped the first part of the sentiment (from Birthday Bash Sentiments, PTI) in orange and then a sentiment found in Jenny's set in brown, along with a rhinestone I colored orange.  The panel was then adhered with foam adhesive.
