Craft Room

Hi there!  In an effort to document more of my everyday, I thought I would post some pictures of our latest project...my new crafty space room!!  I never shared before but, here is a look at where I craft right now.  I never wanted to share because it is such a hodge podge of a space...

I live in a 1930's Bungalow with a very large upstairs room (32x14) and had no other place to put my space!  My wonderful husband rigged up two counter-top scraps and a wire rack and that is where I have been creating.  Enter the front bedroom.  We just couldn't stand it as a bedroom any longer and decided to move our bedroom back upstairs where it use to be before Jonathan was born.  So the craft space gets moved to, you guessed it, downstairs front room.

Here is my hubs painting and Jonathan "helping."

Here it is all painted with a few pieces of furniture in it.  We will be moving more of the pieces from upstairs to this room, but I thought I would share what it looks like as of now.  I do hope to share photos of it when it is all done.  I still have a lot of storage and furniture pieces to find.  We were thrilled to find the wood floors underneath in very good shape!

So, yeah, that is my craft room and I couldn't be more thrilled!  I seriously need a room that I can go to and call my own.  This fits, so happy!

Thank you again for stopping by, and do come back tomorrow...TCM release ya know!

  10. Omword lindsay....what a great space you had and will have. I so love the character of your home just from seeing those few pics. The doors are amazing as is that window that goes to the floor. We could have so much fun thrifty shopping to decorate your craft room. Hee. Where do you live? And email me to let me know about gallery idol. When can I vote again?

  11. What a great space! Thanks so much for sharing! Your hubby seems like a doll and your little boy is so cute "helping out." You have inspired me to start recovering from the crafting hurricane that was July 2011, so I can take pics and share as well!
