Warm Thoughts

Hey there!  I found a bit of crafty time this morning before the little guy woke up!  I really wanted to play the latest Tuesday Trigger, Classically Modern before the new one tomorrow!  For this card I used Happiness Is... from The Craft's Meow.

Stamped my solid flower image in Enchanted Evening ink onto a white panel.

Stamped the large outlined flower onto white card stock and painted it in with a bit of Spun Sugar Distress Ink.  Cut it out, along with some stamped leaves and added it to my panel using foam adhesive.  Because no card is left without bling and well, there is that big shiny orb in the picture, I had to add some rhinestones.

Taking a sentiment from Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler, I heat embossed it in Black and finished it off with some lace and a seam binding bow.

Here is a picture of the Trigger:

Thank you for popping by!  John and I had a fabulous time camping this weekend, and though I brought my camera I didn't get as many pictures as I would have hoped.  Maybe I can get a few of them up.  I am really excited about a trip we are going to take to Kentucky in a few weeks.  I will finally be getting my Copic Certification in Lexington and we also decided to make it a week vacation with, you guessed it, more camping!  Yes, we love it!  Have a great day!

  1. This is really pretty, Lindsay. Love the way the blue flowers look on the white background and I adore that font on the sentiment. I'm bummed now that I didn't get that Paper Smooches set - I got the newer one (I think) with the funny font words (that,of course I cannot remember the name of..lol). Glad you guys had a great time camping. Kentucky, huh? You'll be sort of close to me. :)
