"Well Done"

Happy Friday my friend!  I wanted to take the opportunity to pop in a challenge card today since the next couple of days I will be sharing sneak peaks of the really fun stamps being released by The Craft's Meow.

For my card today I combined CAS-ual Fridays Graduation challenge with Embellish magazines Text challenge!  Not my normal colors, but super fun to get out of my comfort zone with.  Here is what I came up with:

Starting with a white card stock panel, I randomly stamped a graduation cap.

I sliced off the bottom of the white panel and adhered a strip of Smokey Shadow card stock stamped with text in white ink, tied around some black floss and rounded the corners.

Using SRM Stickers Congratulation sticker sheet, I adhered my sentiment.  I adhered my panel with foam adhesive to an Ocean Tides card base.

Here is a look at the Embellish Challenge colors:

Thank you for stopping by today!  Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see what TCM has in store for  the June release!

Really "well done" Lindsay! Seriously, I love this layout of elements and the colors too! And that you popped up one of the hats. Popping is always good, LOL!

I love your layout - it looks like the scenes in films where they all through their hats in the air. :-)

Oh Lindsay I love this. Not your your normal colors? Whaddaya mean? The grey looks SO good and is a great change form typical black. The text stamped in white pulls the whole thing together too. Happy you joined us for this week's CAS-ual Friday challenge and always look forward to seeing your entry.

So perfect to use the Embellish colors on a graduation card! And I love the sentiment instead of the usual "Hats off..." Can't wait to see what you've done with TCM stuff, too. I'm sure it will be brillz. :)
