National Scrapbooking Day with Skipping Stones

Hello and welcome!  Today I am joining in on the fun over at Skipping Stones Design with a fabulous blog hop!  We are celebrating National Scrapbooking Day with some fabulous designers showcasing Skipping Stones stamps on our scrapbook pages!  You have arrived from Nicole Mullen's blog if not go here to find out what you have stumbled upon.

Here are a few details you will need for the hop today:

"Leave a comment on each blog, when you have finished, go back to the beginning at Skipping Stones Design and leave a comment, telling us what you thought of the hop.  One lucky commenter will be chosen Wednesday, May 11th to win the Skipping Stones Design may release stamp set!"

I started with a simple LO and adhered some Echo Park For the Record patterned paper to a piece of Rustic White 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock.  Border punched a couple strips and adhered those to my floral piece.

I stamped one of the ornate scroll images from Sentiment Frames twice to create a journaling space, cut it out and adhered it after writing on it.  Stamped some lovely butterflies from Dandelion Dreams and added rhinestones to their centers.

Created my sentiment using a few word pieces and letter stickers from the paper collection, along with a few AC Thickers.

Lastly, I added some phrases to the top corner and the photo strip of my sweet hubby and I on our honeymoon back in the fall of 2005!

Well, that is all for me!  Your next stop on the hop is Diana Fisher!  I hope you are inspired to try a bit of stamping on your next scrapbook page!  Also, I  wanted to thank Wendy at Skipping Stones for allowing me to join in today, thank you Wendy!  Enjoy the rest of the hop friend!

Lindsay

  10. This looks terrific! Love all the bright colors - you know, if you want to give SSD a little more exposure, Echo Park picks a random person who posts a project using their papers on their Facebook page and spotlights them on their blog every Friday and they win an EP paper collection of their choice... just sayin' ;)
