Just Thinking of You...

Looking for The Craft's Meow Sneak Peak?  Click here or scroll down!

Hey friend!  Today is a brand new Card Patterns sketch and it's a great one!  Our fabulous sponsor this week is Layers of Color!  Oh my love this butterfly!

I started by distressing my patterned paper panel with white paint.  After adhering that to my card front, I cut another strip and snipped the ends for the banner look.

Distressed a doily and adhered it to the top of my card along with some seam binding I bought from this Etsy shop

Colored my image in with Copic markers with two different colors on two seperate images, cut the yellow out and popped them up!  Distressed the circle with Walnut Stain Distress ink, stamped a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Embellishments set and adhered it to my card with foam.

Die cut a leaf image from Chartreuse cardstock and tucked it under my image.and added some pearls!

I do hope you play along with us this week!

Happiness Is...

Welcome back to The Craft's Meow sneak peaks!  I hope you enjoyed yesterdays peak at Simply Delightful.  Today, I am sharing a card I made with my personal fav, Happiness Is...

To start I layered on patterned paper from Pink Paislee's Butterfly Garden 6x6 papers (swoon), distressed the edges a bit and added some white paint to shabby it up a bit.  Stamped the bee image randomly with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Stamped my flower onto white cardstock, colored it with Copic markers and cut it out.  After adding some seam binding and lace trim, I adhered the cut out flower and stamped leaves with foam, and adding pearls to the flower.

I stamped my sentiment in the top corner...

...and continued it to the bottom right!

So what do you think?  I love these stamps, I know I have said it before but seriously, so fun!  So you know the drill friends.  If you want to win some, "like" TCM on Facebook or leave a comment on all the DT blogs! Once again, the prizes will be awarded based on random drawing from the comments left on THREE of the Team blogs listed below! Forever and For All Eternity...Tissue Paper Magic Challenge

To find the sneak peak of Simply Delightful by The Craft's Meow please click Here, or scroll down.

Hi again my friend!  I can't ever stay away from this blog it seems!  I have been wanting to play with the Moxie Fab World Challenge using tissue or crepe paper and could not seem to get to it.  Well, I got PC's latest special issue, Card Creations 9 (I have three cards in it-WOOT) and was completely inspired by Windy Robinsons gorgeous card using white and kraft with a beautiful white bloom in the center.  Love the Kraft on the white and the lovely contrast.  Here is what I came up with:

I punched out three circles and ran them through my Zyron Sticker maker.  Laying the paper down and pleating as I went around the circle.   Trimmed off the edges to make them a bit smaller and then layered them together with Scor-Tape.

Added a big white pearly button to the center along with some pearls in various sizes.

Attached Burlap "leaves" to the back...and attached it to a Kraft panel that was inked with Walnut Stain Distress ink and accented with faux white stitching.

Stamped my sentiment in black from Paper Smooches Pretty Phrases set and adhered the panel to a white card base.

That is truly all I have today, but I will be back tomorrow for one of my fav sets from The Craft's Meow!  See you then!

Tied around a ribbon and secured the panel to my kraft bag.

You Rock

Good evening my friend!  Today was one of those days that went way to fast!  I have been pondering the latest Tuesday Trigger since Cath posted it yesterday.  I decided to just go with it and recreate it in the form of a masculine card.  Can't have too many of those, now can we!

Started with a light gray panel, stamping my circles in different colors just like in the pic.  Matted it onto black cardstock.

Stamped my sentiment from Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler onto more light gray cardstock, rounded the ends, added a couple coordinating buttons and a bit of red grosgrain ribbon and popped it up with foam.

Here is the inspirational pic:

Well, that is all for me tonight!  Be sure to stop back tomorrow, because sneak peaks begin for The Craft's Meow!  Nina Bracket did an amazing job with these stamps!  You don't want to miss it!  Have a great one!

You Make The World

Hey friend!  Today I wanted to share the card I made for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday challenge and CR84FN's latest color challenge!  Nicole's challenge included using a line frame drawn with a multi-liner and CR84FN had Red, Aqua and White for the chosen colors.

Started by drawing a rectangle with a black multi-liner, masking off the card and stamping my butterflies within the frame.  Removed my mask, and colored my butterflies using Copic Markers.

Stamped my sentiment onto white cardstock and popped it up with foam.  Added three buttons in the coordinating colors threaded with satin ribbon.

Here is the inspirational pic of the colors:

Die cutting the stars from white cardstock, I stamped them with BB: Newsprint in True Black ink, swipped a bit of Hawaiian Shores ink around the edges.

Stamped a rectangle image from Button Boutique in Summer Sunrise ink, added my stars in various levels.

Added a few Summer Sunrise buttons...

If You Want the Rainbow

Hey!  It's time for another Card Patterns sketch!  Our fabby sponsor this week is Paper Makeup Stamps, and I chose to work with If You Want the Rainbow digi.

Starting with a white card base cut to 4 1/4 x 4 1/4, cut a strip of polka dot patterned paper from Echo Park's Little Boy Collection.  Added a bit of Hawaiian Shores border punched with a Fiskars punch.

Printed my image onto white cardstock and colored the rainbow in with different Copic markers.  After coloring the clouds with a very light blue Copic, I added a bit of white flocking.

Lastly, I tied a bit of Pure Poppy grosgrain ribbon into a bow and glued it above my die cut circle with Glossy Accents.

I hope you play along with us, we love to see what you make with the sketches!  Have a great weekend!

Fabulous Mother

Hiya friend!  Thank you for your sweet comments yesterday on my good news!  You all are so wonderful and I appreciate you mucho!  I seriously can't wait for you to see these stamps!  One more thing to add to that list that is a mile long, haha!  For today, I wanted to share a card I made for my mom using Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe.  Oh this paper is delicious and I now I am on a shabby card kick.  Hope you don't mind since it seems to change with the wind, or should I say, Ohio weather!!

I was inspired by my friend Cindy's card she did a few weeks back and used the LO losely for this.
Layering some patterned paper on my card front after distressing it a bit with white ink, I stamped a little zigzag pattern on the seam in brown ink, which you can't see very well and ends up covered by my panel, but eh, it's there.

Cut a patterned paper panel and border punched a strip, adhering them together.  Sprayed a Tattered Angels Chipboard frame with green glimmer mist.  Layered a few Prima blooms together with a pretty brad, and layed that over a bow of twine.

Stamped my sentiment in Rich Cocoa ink and added a few pearls.

That is all for me today, I hope your day is fabulous!

Thanks Tuesday Trigger, Crepe Bouquet

Okay, you're not going to believe this but I managed to make a card without using a Paper Smooches image!  Now I didn't say sentiment...but hey I am trying!  Today I have a shabby little number inspired by the latest Tuesday Trigger, Crepe Bouquet.  So soft and pretty...

I found a pretty peach colored piece of patterned paper in the Webster's Pages Life's Portrait/Lullaby Lane pack, which I distressed with ink and my fingernail.  Die cut the pattern on the back side with scallops, then  added some lace trim and adhered the panel to a cream card base.

Using yellow felt, I die cut and layered the pieces to make a flower and placed it on top of leaves I stamped and cut out.  Lastly, I stamped my Paper Smooces sentiment and adhered some pearls.

Here is the pic:

Birthday Fishes

Wednesday already?  How did that happen, not that I am not glad for it!  So, I am noticing a trend here...Copics, check!  Distress Inks, check!  Paper Smooches, CHECK!  Oh dear...someone take them from me!  Here is yet another colorful card to brighten your day, cause where I am it's just cloudy and rainy!

Stamped my fish in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, colored it, cut it out and popped it up with foam.  Sponged two different orange distress inks onto white cardstock to create a sunset like sky.

Cut a piece of Hawaiian Shores cardstock, layered border strips to mimick waves and stamped a little circle stamp that comes in the Boob Toob set.

Last, I stamped my sentiment onto a die cut oval and popped it up, adhering smaller circles below to make it look like a speech bubble!

Thank you so much for dropping by!  I always appreciate it!
