Happy Birthday Skipping Stones Design Sketch #67

Hello!  Today I have another fun sketch made by the very talented Heidi Blankenship for Skipping Stones Design!  This sketch is great for all kinds of interpretations.  I chose to go botanical with this and try a fun emboss resist for my focal image using the lovely Dandelion Dreams set.

Started by adhering a strip of Basic Grey Hello Luscious patterned paper across the card along with a punched strip on top.

Die cut a Labels 9 Spellbinders die, heat embossed my images in white and rubbed some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink all over it.  Stamped my birds, cut them out and mounted them with foam.

Added a bit of my favorite thing lately...twine!  I can't stop using this stuff.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment and added a rhinestone.

I do hope you decide to play along!  We would love to see what you make using this sketch.  As always, thank you so much for visiting!

Lindsay
