Hello friend! How are you doing today? Good I hope! I really wanted to play along with the latest Papertrey Ink challenge. That DT sure knows how to color things up! I decided to try Lisa Johnson's fun colors to get me out of my comfort zone! They reminded me that my sons birthday is coming up and these colors work really well for a little boy. The card is not quite what I had envisioned, but will do. I guess I have put myself on a patterned paper diet of sorts with all my stamped cards the last few days. I am certainly trying! HA!
Started with a Kraft card base and stamped Tin Types in Pure Poppy. Stamped my sailboats onto Vintage cream and added Spring Rain saddlestitch ribbon with Scor-Tape. Rounded my corner and popping it up on my card front.
Threaded a few buttons with baker's twine and stamped my sentiment from Mega Mixed Messages, popping it up with foam.
Took a large Spring Rain button and threaded it with more twine and secured it over the ribbon.
Well, that is all for me today. Thank you for stopping by!
Lindsay
