Get Well Soon

Happy Friday to you friend!  I wanted to share a little card I made using Tea For Two & Additions by Papertrey Ink.  I am terrible about using purple, so I considered it a personal challenge to make something with it.  Here it is:

Started with with the mat stack 4 die cut in True Black, scored a white panel in a diamond pattern.  Tied on a bit of Plum Pudding Grosgrain ribbon and attached with dimensional adhesive.

Die cut and stamped my tea cup and tea pot in Eggplant ink, along with a little lemon wedge (kinda looks like an orange) cut out and put on the cup.

Finished it off with a get well sentiment!

I hope you have a fantastic weekend my friend!  Be sure to stop over at Card Patterns tomorrow as we kick off our birthday celebration!

Lindsay

P.S.

  1. Haha... I'm not a purple fan either, but you REALLY rocked it here! This is beautiful! And I love the scored-embossing, I keep wanting to try that but haven't done it yet! Maybe this is the kick in the pants that I need. :)
