Wedding Wishes

Hello again!  Yes I am back...if you missed my Cardabilities card you may go here.  So, I just couldn't wait till tomorrow to post my card for Cath's Trigger Tuesday!!  I saw that cake and ran to my crafty spot!  Can you believe I have never played along with this challenge?  I know!  Well Cath, I will likely be back if you keep posting such awesome inspiration!   Here is the yummy cake:

Here is my card:

Using a white panel, I adhered 4 different border punched pieces repeating them until I filled the space.  I tried to capture the texture of the cake with this technique.

Die cut flowers from cream cardstock, layered them together and secured with a brad.  Put some glue on the edges of the petals and sprinkled on Mica Flakes!

Stamped my sentiment in Chestnut ink and cut it out all banner-like.  Adhered it and gave it a curl.  Then I just popped the whole panel up on dimensional adhesive on a white card base.

I hope you liked it, I know I do and I can't wait to give it away!  Have a great day my friend.

Lindsay
